HYLIR Group was established in 1995. It is a comprehensive ecological enterprise that integrates various sectors, including intelligent manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, technology finance, technological innovation, and cultural tourism. Currently, HYLIR holds controlling or minority stakes in 52 companies. It also ranks among the top 100 enterprises in Qingdao, as well as the top 100 private enterprises and top 50 service enterprises in Shandong Province, China.
HYLIR Group has honed its expertise over approximately three decades with a core focus on "intelligent manufacturing + industry chains." It has also partnered with world-class companies, providing high-quality products and service solutions to premium global brands, including Shougang, Pangang, Haier, Hisense, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Geely Auto, Jiamei Group, and Wanhua Group. In addition, HYLIR Group capitalises on its industrial development advantages by investing in new quality productivity. In accordance with the national development strategy, HYLIR has launched and is operating an artificial intelligence manufacturing headquarters base project, led by the Jinniu District of Chengdu. This project integrates intelligent technology, cutting-edge technological innovations, smart offices, and modern business functions to create an "international, ecological, and intelligent" hub. Spanning a total area of approximately 263 mu, with Phase 1 covering 79 mu, the project features smart transportation supported by the industrial internet. It aims to establish five key centres: the AI+ Industry Centre, the Industry Finance Centre, the Technology Achievement Transformation Centre, the Modern Service Industry Centre, and the Global Settlement Centre. Its goal is to create a smart park platform, a comprehensive technology service system, and a multi-platform service model combining "entity + platform + technology services." The ambition is to become a global leader in industrial platforms.
After about 30 years of dedicated development, HYLIR Group's industrial strategy has evolved into a "one body, two wings" development model. HYLIR has adopted a diversified development strategy in response to the global technological revolution and industrial transformation. In the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection, HYLIR is capitalising on the opportunities presented by the "Belt and Road" initiative. It has partnered with Czech Nordmann to establish Nordmann's Fir (Qingdao) Environmental Energy Technology Co., Ltd. It is also introducing cutting-edge technologies and advanced R&D teams from Europe while integrating Chinese characteristics to build an international technological demonstration platform. In addition, HYLIR has invested in Sichuan Qingke New Materials to provide green, customised anti-damage packaging services. Moreover, it has invested in HIEXTRA New Materials, which specialises in green metal surface treatment. Furthermore, HYLIR is enhancing its ecological energy management by investing in Qingdao Future Energy Company, which specialises in the technological innovation and applications of renewable energy for heating and cooling. Besides, it is building the world's largest seawater-source energy supply station. In addition, HYLIR has introduced the Tanaka team of academicians from the Japanese Academy of Sciences. They will settle in Shinan District, Qingdao, with the goal of creating a world-class international wellness and cancer treatment centre.
In the field of technology finance, HYLIR , in partnership with 17 enterprises, has launched Born Capital in Chengdu. In addition, it has introduced the concept of the "ecological fund" for the first time in Shandong. This fund focuses on investments in high-tech industries such as the internet, big data, and artificial intelligence. Its goal is to build a comprehensive ecological capital chain. HYLIR has invested in the fundamental drivers of China's growth, establishing strategic partnerships with more than 10 funds, 15 banking institutions, and 7 financial organizations both domestically and internationally. It has also formed collaborations with large state-owned financial companies such as Haier Finance and Shougang Fund. Furthermore, it is exploring the investment model of "connecting technological power with ecological resources." This includes investments in promising companies such as Xiniu Smart Parking and Xiniu Matrix, both of which have "unicorn" potential. HYLIR specialises in smart city upgrade solutions, aiming to contribute to the advancement of China's new business civilization.
HYLIR has taken the lead in the fields of technological innovation and cultural tourism in Chengdu, a pilot demonstration city for China's "Park City" model.It achieved this by introducing the City Park 3.0 development model. Adopting the "Park City+" approach, HYLIR integrates parks with industries to create new pathways for industrial development and foster a new economy centred around parks. Its goal is to implement a mature park operation model that deeply integrates "culture + tourism + technology." The aim is to embed digitalisation and intelligence into every aspect of cultural and creative products, services, operations, and experiences. HYLIR aims to create a unique new theme park experience that blends originality, differentiation, leisure, and entertainment, thereby enriching the new ecology of urban park economies in China. HYLIR has formed a joint venture, Jiaozi Jin Hua, through deep collaborations with both domestic and international universities. This venture is in partnership with Jinniu Urban Construction Investment, a state-owned platform company in Jinniu District. Together, we are dedicated to advancing the development and implementation of smart education and new education infrastructure projects.
